A Sonnet of Love.
Wolves snarl at a glimpse of your Harlot stare,
Frothing over your luscious red lips, Steak,
Whining to your tempting whisper with care,
Dooming mortals to a fate of heartache.
I love! Unsew me now, unfold my skin,
Reveal my purity, deprive me it!
Engrave my soul with your seducing sin,
Entwining me tightly where cries emit.
Pure wails of love lost, and happiness shunned,
Tortured souls looking for an open heart,
That place where promises are not undone,
That contract, ‘Love always comes in two parts’.
So tell me Slut, how many hearts must bend?
Before your final, flailing, faceless end?

Thankyou for looking at my poem
Can i ask why you're confused about steak? lol
Yer i'm not sure what word i could use there, my poetry teacher seemed to think the word made sense so i thought what the heck! It must make sense somehow lol
Yes I know what you mean, it does need a bit of re-reading :/ Oh well lol
I like it. The sonnet set up is beautiful. But, at some parts, I'm a little lost for what you mean.
"Steak"....What?When I say some parts, I actually mean, just one line xD
Unsew isn't a word, for one, and "sew" also seems like the wrong tense. Sow? but unsow also isn't a word. But heck, 'speare made up words so so can you!
The real idea behind the poem took a second rereading on my part, but I liked it once I understood it. (Sometimes I am slow.) It's not exactly the best thing I've read, probably because I am not fond of sonnets and the voice you used, but for poetry in general, it was good.
Keep it up!
